Have tried a fresh install of windows 2k then installing the latest graphics drivers before using the Nforce II drivers, but it still shows an error on the standard PCI-AGP bridge. Its been running fine then I accidentally removed the NForce drivers. Linux and Windows – No Boot. Oops, sorry for the double post, my connection stalled. Have a good day. Seeing as how between the three instances that I now know of, the issue lies with two bridgw motherboards and both K II based cards, it’s a chipset problem.
NVIDIA nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge, how do I free up the resources?
I’ve got a new Abit NF7 nforce2 chipset based mobo wich supports agp from 2x to nvidia nforce2 agp host to pci bridge, and a damned hercules 3d prophet Mb kyro 2 based graphic card too! Has someone had any success with this? My video drivers went too maybe because my card was in conflict already then.
The card is AGP, and when I installed it the motherboard didn’t recongnize it, so I had to do it manually, but it keeps saying the device cannot start. Tried different grfx cards. Reply – Quote – Report Abuse.

Sorry no solutions but I just hit upon the same problem with a NF7-Sv2. Don’t know where to go from here. Nvidia nforce2 agp host to pci bridge have a different card on order tl will nvieia if this clears up the problem.
Or change your operating system go back on win98se Its been running fine then I accidentally removed the NForce drivers.
But honestly, I htink that they just aren’t nvixia to be compatible, nforce I don’t know how hot nVidia is going to be to aagp an issue with a two year old competitors card. Same problem as you guys and I’ve done just about all I know Hoping someone can help.
Since this appears to affect different makes nvidia nforce2 agp host to pci bridge graphics card I would hope it is a driver compatibility issue, not physical. I’m checking nVidia’s site from here, and doing another search, will stop back if I can find anything else. If anyone has had this problem would they be willing to help me.
Want to enjoy fewer advertisements and more features? I reinstalled the NForce drivers but the conflict would not go away no matter what I do.

The problem seems to be, for some reason, the Kyro video card uses some resources, or disables some resources, so the nForce2 AGP Host to PCI Bridge no longer has any resources available.
And I just think the kyro 2 I have maybe all Hercules 3d prophet ? I found in bios the agp speed setting and set brigde up mannually to 2x. When I remove the offending nvidia nforce2 agp host to pci bridge the bridge and refresh device manager the card is detected but driver install fails with a message about ‘missing section in inf file’. I checked this site and the information is brilliant but the card is listed as AGP4 according to this site – http: Please register or login. Hercules 3d xt supports only agp 2x ,windows Xp will not allow to start graphic interface to old video cards.
